I agree with this statement.
But majority of the steemians also doing this, may they buy hive or other currency or convert it to fiat. They have the funds and that is their choice. Whatever they want, they can purchase. So selling and buying is individual decision.

I personally don't care about the rewards earning by this way. I will calculate it with fiat money, means steem multiplied by $. If steem dollar price is low then no benefit of more steem comparison to if steem dollar price is high then we have more benefits. So our major target should not be the steem quantity but more Steem dollar price should be the target.
We are more target on quantity beside of quality of price. We should change our target.
Let them earn OR stop by make a uniform code. Else i don't agree with abuse.

I can translate this statement in other way, Please don't mind it personally. This is just a thought.
Say
1. By removing the SPS pool, the reward pool will increase.
2. By reducing the top 20 witness share, the reward poll will increase. OR Distribute more uniformly same reward pool (without increasing reward pool) to other more witness too.

Some people also think that this way we are abusing the system and reduce our reward pool.

So my conclusion is that we have to change the system coding, which you know more better than me and make a system fool proof, so that no one abuse the system (if they currently abusing the system).
