Howdy there Melinda! I found it! lol. I must be a retard sometimes but anyway I love the pictures of their work. That one tree that is down looks pretty darn big! So your daughter didn't get to see any?

Nice to see the wildlife come around though from having to protect the trees, I wonder if they are viewed as pest sometimes.

They can be pretty destructive, but are definitely fun to watch! I got a few nice close-ups last spring of the ones that moved into the state park. It was interesting to watch them "work."

Oh, it is such a good thing when you have a beaver in your area.  It means that it is a healthy ecosystem.  A friend of mine was so excited when they found out they had a family of beavers in the area.  Granted they can cause issues, but as long as it is watched closely, it shouldn't be an issue. 

I think it is interesting how they are able to fell trees.  I just cant imagine the power that must be in those jaws!

That's amazing, I know of course of Beavers even though we have none in the UK. They gnaw the tree so cleanly and precise though, for relatively small creatures they make the felling of trees look like child's play compared to the efforts of humans with machines for the job who always seem to end up with the tree crushing something they were trying to miss (normally a house lol)

I hope you will make a regular beaver update post on how they progress building a dam, it would be fascinating to follow and I would love to learn more about these amazing creatures.
