&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I think we are witnessing history in the making my friends. I was just over on the other part of the Internets checking out what my youtube subs were doing while I've been gone, and It's not looking good in Youtubeland, not one bit.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;This is great news for <a href="https://d.tube/">Dtube</a> my friends, this could be YUGE as they say around these parts. If you are curious of all the details regarding this latest move by Google/Youtube, I would encourage you to check out the 2 gazillion videos that have been made on the subject. But, long story short, little channels just went kapoot.

<h1>I'm not celebrating, but we will soon enough</h1>

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I think what Google and his cousin Youtube fail to see, is that many small channels are their biggest consumers, and they stick around, interact and create, hoping to become big channels one day. I mean, just think about it, unless a brand new Tubester (yes, I like this word better) has magical powers, the only "hope" he or she had to make it was a combination of great content, and algorithmic luck. Basically, the right suggestion popping up on the right menu, with the ability of capitalizing on that <b>one viral video</b> that changed it all. 

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;With this new policy, A lucky tubinati could have a video with a million views, and not quality for monetization, because of subs, and Youtube not reviewing the channel yet to see if it "qualifies" to be a partner. In other words...

<h1> I feel bad for these folks</h1>

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Don't get me wrong, I feel terrible for the little channels, the small creators, some of them I follow myself. But, I can definitely see the silver lining, this pain, this uncomfortable thing, can become the catalyst for sites like <a href="https://d.tube/">Dtube</a> and the Steem Blockchain as a whole.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;They simply have no choice but to change too. Their plans for being the next big Youtubian have suddenly vanished. I think now, playing the lotto might be a better gamble, better odds and probably cheaper too.


<h1>So I'm taking matters into my own hands</h1> 

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I reached out today to three Youtubists. So far one response, but that's OK. I intend to keep this up, and everyday reach out to one upset Youtubista and tell him/her that the game is not over, but the princess is in another castle.
