We are having a pork shortage due to the widespread pandemic on pigs caused by ASF or African Swine Fever. It's been months and our region was hit by this virus so bad that pigs had to be culled driving down the supply this increasing the price. This caused to have fish more often. Everyday we buy from the fishermen. Today, my cousin gave me some fresh fish for free. He is the most fish-eating dude I know and he supports this preference for fish than pork and poultry in our diet. My daughter and I are slowly getting used to this change. I think it is a good change.
