Feathered Friday - At The Water Park

## Hey guys! 

It´s #featheredfriday once more and thanks to @melinda010100 for hosting this challenge. Before leaving homebase, I went to the Waterpark which is just next to the clinic where I had my eye therapy. It´s just walking distance and just a few steps away.

There were not much ducks and swans in the ponds except for a few fleets that seemed to be a family. We have Fall now so the other birds we´ve seen in Summer have already  left for a warmer place. There were also not much visitors in the park and children with their parents were few since it has become chilly already.

I think the ducks seen here is a big family with mom and dad and the all look-alike black and white colored young ones.

At some point,  I think it is between March and November every year, park visitors are prohibited to feed the birds. That is because the birds can look for their own food during this period. Come Winter,  where it is difficult for them to hunt for food  because of frozen grounds, one can visit the park and feed them with self brought bread or corn.

In hard winter, the ducks and the swans have quarters where they can rest especially at frozen temperatures. And in Spring when the snow is melting, other birds come back and start flocking the pond. We can see other bird species because they simply look so different than the ducks.
