Combining two of my favourite things:

### Chinese Astrology
and
### Comic Books

I designed this for a T-Shirt, which I have available for purchase on [RedBubble](https://www.redbubble.com/people/peterloupelis73/works/36252088-2019-year-of-the-earth-pig).

For those who don’t know, **Cerebus the Aardvark** was a character created by Dave Sim in 1977 and finished in March 2004. It was a 300-issue story arc that followed the rise and fall of Cerebus, a cantankerous and snide Aardvark.

At first it emulates the *Conan* storyline about lone wanderer who goes from being a “barbarian” to a king, but it soon developed into a critique of modern society and of the comic-book publishing industry. It — and Sim’s career — have not been without controversy.

Anyway... the reference? Well, Cerebus is often referred to as being “earth-pig born”. 

So fans of Cerebus may find it appropriate to remember and celebrate their favourite anti-hero in this Year of the Earth Pig.

Never read Cerebus. I meant to, but between the White Wolf books and Weed.. It never happened. 

I had a friend who had read them all, and explained "what he could, cause Holy Shit!) to me...

Still.. Cerebus is right and proper... and in light of recent events, becoming more and more relevant. A snapshot of time. Deep-End misogyny, laced with Genius.

Aaargh... looks like it's time to do some piracy...
