I Got Fired... Again.
Whelp. 

I want to make a post about how horrible the people I *used* to work for are, and what disgusting work conditions there were, empty promises, wadda wadda bang bang; but here's another truth:

Just this morning, I heard a little voice in my head tell me that working was not healthy for me at this time. 

I was musing last night about how an extra $10,000 would make it so that I don't have to work anymore, and I was struck by how I *always* think $10,000 will buy me out of situations I don't really want to be in, and how I *always* find alternative solutions to finding $10,000. 

I guess this time is going to have to be no different, as I sure don't have a job anymore. 

So... what am I going to do?

Call the refinance company and see about getting this mortgage lowered, they've offered as I have made six on time payments. I was gonna wait until I could give another (haha magical $10,000) so that I could get rid of my PMI, but a skipped payment or two would work wonders right now. 

Finish that scoping course, and sign up for that next one so I can get to scoping ASAP. 

File my taxes as soon as I can! I am SURE there are some goodies in store for me there. 

And... be open and thankful and ready for more work (or magic money) to fall on my lap. 

I *could* write about how I am going to find some more great freelancing gigs, but I can already feel that "I don't want to pull" maybe I will feed differently after I pick up my last check... 

We will see. 

For now, I am happy to have some time off. 

Really. 

38 years old, six  months pregnant, taking care of three kids without a husband AND working 30+ hours per week is not the business. 

I will figure out what the business is soon enough. 

Maybe I will wake up and steem will have mooned. 

That would be nice.

Thanks for stopping by. I am glad to be earning dollars, but at the same time, I feel that if I *were* in South Africa, the prestige and income from my husbands job would make it so that I could stay home. I don't know exact economics but I do know that percentage wise, he is a top earner and we STILL can't make it work without my income. Makes me wonder how everybody else makes it work.

I feel the same way! Honestly, I think NO office would make me happy at this moment, the intensity with which my kids need me is pretty strong. Still, I *am* working on another certification which should make working from home easy and straight forward. Let's hope it works great for me and I am able to finish sooner than later. 

And yes, I hadn't asked the universe in a long time but, steem moon time yet?

You do have a lot going on right now, carrying precious cargo while your kids need you greatly.  I’m really hoping you can find a work from home job that would be enough income to help carry your family...AND I hope it’s one you actually like ;)

I’m like you, still hoping and wondering if/when Steem will moon. It would be nice if we woke up to that epic event!

I realize I'm late to the party, but yes, this has happened for a reason, and your job now is to figure out how to replace that income without having to get another job . . . which you already know how to do.

And I completely relate . . . so many people are having trouble making ends meet at the moment, that despite all of Trump's claims of a great economy, the reality is far different. It's only a great economy if you're an entrepreneur, with an already profitable business, or wealthy. 

For the rest of us, with boots on the ground, the reality is quite different.

And I can totally relate from a different perspective. The last job I was fired from, a couple of years back, both my husband and I were relieved, because they were such schmucks that the income was simply not worth the aggravation. 

Life's too short to work for terrible people.

You deserve better, and so do your kids. And you'll find the answer. You know you will.

Yes! Life is too short to work for terrible people. I was there part time, but the three other staff members work Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 6pm. 

It made me feel caged just being next to them. 

Still though, the consistent income is nice. Even more "still though" I am 38 and six months pregnant. If I can't sit my butt at home now, then when can I?
