HOMOSEXUALITY

How many times has this topic appeared on the news? How many times is it brought up in religious discussions? How many times has it been used to justify murder? 

The answer is that it has been brought up and used too many times to count. It has been used to persecute the innocent who only wanted to find love in the arms of another. 

Radical Muslims use it as justification to Murder others. 

Christians use it to slander the innocent. 

People pick and choose which laws to uphold and which laws they can break. They will quote from Leviticus as their justification against homosexuality. Yet the very word "leviticus" by definition is ONLY for the Levite priests. 

Christ said he did not come to abolish the law or the Prophets but which laws was he referring to specifically?

The Law of Moses still applies today but only the 10 most basic commandments are given as universal laws for everyone to uphold that believes in Christ. The laws of leviticus were only meant for the levite priests and were given during a time when there was a specific need for such laws to be in place. 

Anyone quoting from the 603 additional laws of Leviticus CANNOT pick and choose which laws to uphold and which ones not to. A person who wants to quote from one of them must be sure they follow every single law to the letter or risk being judged a hypocrite at the very end.

So, is homosexuality truly a sin? The answer is no it is not a sin at all. 

Christ only cares about it being consensual and responsible. Other than that it is a matter that only concerns those parties involved. It does not concern anyone else. 

Surprised? If you are, you really shouldn't be. When Christ came 2,000 years ago he gave 2 simple commandments which fulfilled all of the law and the prophets. He simply commanded everyone to "Love God, Love each other" and that was it. So simple are these two commandments. Yet, people continue to persecute others, and do everything against what Christ commanded them to do and still claim to be christian.

Let go of the hatred and anger and learn to follow and do what Christ commanded.
