# Luk 6:31  And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

Is it possible there is someone that is hungry in your own neighborhood, God wants you to feed, they are praying and asking God for help. God chooses you and because our life is so focused on us or distracted, the person and their family remains hungry? 

Is it possible we are to tell someone about Jesus and they go to hell because we fail to obey? 

Is it possible there is someone in the hospital or sitting at home and very sick, you have a gift of healing, faith or miracles, but you don't pray for them, could they remain sick or even die?

This post is a little preachy! But this is what is in my heart to share this morning. This is not a message of condemnation. It is a message of Hope and perhaps a wake up call! “Christ in you, the hope of glory”. 

>In speaking of the Lord’s Supper, I am not negating other, traditional teachings on the subject. I am only pointing out something that is not as obvious as the other, more accepted teachings.

You can disagree with me, but I believe this is what Paul meant when speaking of the Lord's supper. "Some are sick and some have fallen asleep, because we did not consider the body of Christ."

 Where is the Body of Christ? Here! Those who call on His Name and trust Him for their salvation and those who will respond to the message if they hear the gospel message! "Inasmuch as you did it unto the least of these my brethren, you did it unto me". 

>When we take the Lord's supper, I believe it was never meant to be the assembly line, "fast food" style we currently practice in most churches. If you study the scriptures, the Lord's Supper was the service. 
* It was a time for evaluation. 
* Letting the Lord check us and search us. 
* A time to remember His return. 
* But also a time to consider His Body. 
* Consider the Church! 
* Consider others in your local body of believers, others in your city, state and country and to consider all who call on the Name of Jesus worldwide. 
* It is the time to think of the orphaned and widow. 
*A time to look outward instead of our own little world.
* A time to consider the persecuted church as our brethren are being martyred all of the world in our day at the rate of 1 person every 7 minutes on average.
 
I believe it was the original way the Lord supper was intended that provoked people to "sell their lands and lay the proceeds at the apostles feet" or "they had all of their possessions in common, that nobody had lack". 

* The gospel is not about us!
* it is about Jesus! 
* It is about His Body on this earth. 
* It is about others! 
* It truly is more blessed to give than receive! 
* We are not blessed to be selfish, but to be a blessing! 
* Our prosperity is to establish His covenant upon the face of the earth.

Act 4:32  And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
Act 4:35  And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

1Co 11:29  For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
1Co 11:30  For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
1Co 11:34  And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation.

>Every day I see people with physical ailments and see the hopeless look in their eyes. Outside of the stores here there are people begging for food or money. One guy has no legs and only partial arms. This guy I make a point to talk to every time I see him and I put my hand on his back. I look him in the eye and bless him with a little money and some love. He probably does not get much of this.
I see a lady that goes around and cuts the hair of the homeless without charge. I love this! 

So many times kids, kids swarm you every time you go in a store or restaurant. We can be irritated with them, or we can be the person that shows the love of Jesus. 
When we see someone without suitable clothing, we can look the other way, or we can be God’s ambassador of mercy. Helping people that could never return the favor. 
> Just yesterday two mothers with very small children asked for money. I told them I would buy them bread. I met them at the bread place and ordered them some bread. The children were in terrible shape and had a horrible skin rashes and large bumps on their skin. 
“In asmuch as you did it unto the least of these my brethren, you did it unto me”

A great opportunity to minster to Jesus! Food and prayer for healing. Many times God’s go to person is you or me!
