It's inktober day 10. I am still struggling to make these drawings each day and today seemed particulally opposed to the given prompt. Anyway, i try as there might be something in these low moments that is worth bringing up. I resort to this old "technique" with some ritualistic character. My first attempt went pretty much without much thinking (waves of Ishtar) and i decided to do another one(Rings of Ishtar) with some imposed rules. I am using diluted ink with the tip of my big watercolor brush and doing little dots in circles trying to avoid turning the brush(though i did some) and without dipping it again or reshaping the tip. Pretty quickly the tip will loose its shape and change the pattern with every dap, requiring adjustment. A meditation practice of sort. The names came up with intuition. First one _the waves.._ and after checking it up and refreshing my memory, i ended up doing the second one with more clear thought. There could be a little of that _making it sound more fancy then it is_, but there is something behind it still -maybe it comes through.
