A streak of permanent bad luck had accompanied me for many years, illnesses, thefts, love disappointments… I was really demoralized.

One day, someone said to me "Why don't you consult with a sorcerer?" I always found those esoteric theories ridiculous, but I was depressed enough because of my situation so I decided to go to a psychic, recommended by a friend who evidently was better than me.

Upon entering the seer's house, he only asked me to write my full name on paper. After doing so, he asked me to hold it in front of a lit candle and after giving a puff to the cigar he had lit, he said:

>***The day you were born, in the same hospital someone who did not want to leave, also died, since that day he accompanies you, trying to live his life through yours, that is why you are so unfortunate.***

Among the instructions he gave me, was to go to a cemetery in the city where I was born and find a candle end that was not completely consumed, write down the name and date of birth of the deceased man and then, in the backyard of my house, bury an egg with that data and light the candle end above the burial.

As indicated, I went to the cemetery of my hometown, after several minutes looking for an unfinished candle and about to give up on the task, I could see, a few urns away, a small candle end. I went immediately to the site and I found something that would be the biggest surprise I got, the name of the deceased person where the candle was placed was José María Estevez, whose date of death was the same date of my birth.
