I will never remember
That first day home
The giant sign 
Screaming my name
I'll have to keep those pictures

Your hugs
They keep me safe from harm
Your words
They encourage me to be
Who I am
No more, No less

There will be days
When I wish
That you would just go 
away
Leave me alone
I still love you
Even then

When my days seem gray
Like there is no hope
You are there at the end
Glowing like a beacon in
the night
To show me
That there is still light

Sometimes I think
Of what would happen if
you weren't here
If one day
You just up and disappeared

That's the part
When I run into you 
arms
And whisper in your ear
You are my world.
