My Alternative source of cooking fuel 
#  Hi steemit 
*  As the events of the day keep passing,  I quickly want to show us the alternative source of energy I use for making my meals. 
  
* I have a gas tank here but its empty  and dusty because its been a while i visited it,  and each time am short of resources for buying fuel I just source around my small village and locality for logs and pieces of sticks for my cooking

* Other people around here too make use of that source of energy even our local restaurant have a stock of log here for cooking the food they sell. 
During the dry season they keep piles of dry logs, dry and away from water  and make use of it when the rain comes.

* So many similar villages in Nigeria still use this means of cooking because cooking  gas is still not affordable some,  unavailability  of gas in some places and for safety reasons,  some are afraid of gas explosion. 

* The kerosine stove has for some reason gone into extinction and people are in between,  gas,  charcoal or firewood.

*  Though this method of cooking seem dirty as it obvious from the black color of the pots back because its also tedious to was the pots back daily as it will become black again. 
* A simple thing one can apply is a mixture of detergent and ashes, then rub on the pots back before placing on the fire,  that's what gets black and is easily washed off for the pot to get clean on the outside again.
