My Entry For this Contest :

My Favourite place is the Sukhna Lake, which is situated in Chandigarh, India. This place is very close to the hearts of residents of the Chandigarh city and it is deeply attached to them as this place brings so many things to them at one place. 
People who likes to walk or jogging in morning or evening, it is a best place for them for their exercise routine. Families enjoy their time in evening and people who love nature they mingle with children and walk with them or do roller skates as the path is properly maintained alongside the lake which is 7.5km long from starting point to end point. Photographers like me , loves to capture the beauty of the lake and its surroundings during sunrise or sunset or evening.
It is also a sanctuary for many different migratory birds.

Sharing the pictures of this Beautiful place. The picture with Statue of Gautama Buddha is called Garden of Silence , which is at the End of Sukhna Lake,where people sit and relax and do their meditation and yoga exercises. The rest of the pictures is with the view of Lake while you come Upstairs from the Garden of Silence

I just Love this place and i never got tired of visiting it as many times i can.
