Sons of Anarchy is one of the best modern crime TV Shows that was wildly popular and has propelled many actors into stardom, you can see Charlie Hunnam in so many movies these days. The show is created by Kurt Sutter, and after he made a short medieval trip with the show called Bastard Executioner, he came back to what he does best, creating a show about drugs, guns and motorcycle gangs. I like how the new show is closely tied to the old one, you will actually see some characters from Sons of Anarchy, it is almost like unofficial sequel.

The plot is centered around Ezekiel Reyes, a new prospect for the motorcycle club Mayans with some serious bagage from the past as he tries to blend in with the gang. The Mayans are dealing with cartels and other criminals, but they always have a code they follow, like a brotherhood, but there is a thin line between life and death with their line of business. Also a nice surprise for the fans of Edward James Olmos known for his Battlestar Galactica role is that he has a significant role in Mayans M.C. Overall, this is a decent first season that ends with a nice cliffhanger that will for sure bring the fans of both shows back for season 2. Score: 8.4/10.
