<div class="text-justify">Edward had met her briefly 4 years ago at his best friend David’s birthday party. Four years ago, she has been newly wed. She has been the belle of the ball, with her husky wholehearted laughter, her pearly skin and dewy love filled eyes. She had been obviously happy and in love and her husband had looked equally love struck and giddy. He had watched them from afar, jealous of their connection, their communication…they kept laughing and holding on to each other. He flashed back to the fateful, painful night….</div>

<div class="text-justify">He had walked into the party venue late, searching through the crowds for his friend and then he had heard her laugh. He turned sharply towards the sound and laid his eyes on the woman of his dreams. He had never really been able to connect romantically nor emotionally with any woman all his life. He had been labelled a proud rich recluse who preferred only the company of his few friends. For the first time, he saw a woman he actually wanted to know and he did not hesitate to walk up to her. He came within touching distance and just before he spoke to her in greeting, she turned and smiled right at him. His heart skipped a beat at the beauty of her smile. She had slightly crooked teeth yet nothing could have rivaled the magnificence of the beautiful smile she bestowed on him. Her eyes were dewy and shining with an inner joy and his breathe hitched at the sheer awesomeness of her person. He smiled back and reached out a hand to shake hers only to realize at the last minute that she was smiling and reaching out to someone behind him. Her husband. He had lost his heart to a woman he could not have.</div>

<div class="text-justify">He had to try to snap out of the depression that had followed and he had succeeded. He had gone on with his life but he had never found any woman he wanted to date for more than a few weeks. He knew he was measuring the women against her but no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn’t stop thinking about her. None of them measured up to his dream woman. Now his dream woman was back in town and she was a widow. He had just found out from his best friend that she had lost her husband in an accident 2 months after that birthday party and had practically lost her mind out of sheer grief. She had been deeply traumatized and had been hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital since then. She had just been certified mentally balance and released into the society. Now she was looking for a job and his friend had asked him to hire her as a favor. He had spent the last four years fantasizing about her. Now here was his chance to meet her for real and see how reality would match up to his numerous fantasies.</div>

<div class="text-justify">She walked into his office right on time, obviously primed and ready for the interview. For a moment, he’d thought he was looking at the wrong woman. But when he’d examined her closely, the basics were all the same. The same dark hair, though caught up tight painful looking bun unlike the free flowing bouncy hair he remembered. Her eyes were the same liquid brown but darker and solemn. Her teeth, still the same crooked set but the brief smile she offered didn’t look real nor did they reach her eyes. Her eyes remained solemn and steady on him. He remembered her as a little bigger, chubbier and fuller but now she was rather slim. She was medium height, about five-five in her low heels, and she had a trim figure in a gray skirt that reached past her knees and a white shirt, buttoned up tight. She looked very prim and proper. She was nothing like he remembered, and certainly nothing like the sort of woman to indulge in his countless numerous fantasies. His heart began to slowly break all over again, his sweet dream girl was gone forever. He leaned back wearily into his chair and shut his eyes briefly.</div>

<div class="text-justify">“Are you alright Mr. Edward?” she asked in that husky voice he remembered and his eyes flew open. She was giving him a little reassuring smile, trying to help him relax obviously misunderstanding his weariness. That was the voice he remembered. Right before his eyes was the shadow of that gorgeous smile of hers. Even her eyes were alive with worry for him and he felt that unmistakable connection with her once again. She was still his dream woman after all! He just needed to find a way to bring her old personality back!</div>
