**On this occasion I will discuss the figure of my favorite singer, Ariel Noah.**

A music fan must have their own idol singer or band. So if I were asked who my idol is in the music world, I would say that my idol is Ariel Noah.
## <center>The story of Ariel Noah and his never-fading popularity</center>

Handsome and charismatic. Those two words may be very suitable for me to describe the figure of Ariel Noah in the eyes of his fans, especially among women. Even though he rarely appears on television, his loyal fans never leave his side. They continue to provide support and look forward to Ariel's work with Noah's next band.
Ariel's own figure is known as a singer with a distinctive voice that is often categorized as sexy. Not only a matter of voice, the ability to write songs by this one musician cannot be underestimated. His work always manages to make the listeners' hearts melt because it is very romantic and poetic. For friends who are curious about the figure of Ariel Noah, there is no need to be confused. I will discuss it below.
#### 1. The beginning of making music from a junior high school band to becoming "Peterpan"

The man whose real name is ***Nazril Ilham*** was born in ***Pangkalan Brandan Langkat, North Sumatra*** on ***September 16, 1981***. Since childhood, Ariel's love for the world of music has been seen. In junior high school, he formed a band called Peppermint with his friends. Unfortunately, the band only lasted for 7 months. Since then, the third child of the couple *Nazrul Irphan* and *Darlina Darwis* has made a new band several times which also did not last long.

The beginning of Ariel's career in the recording world actually started with Topi, one of the bands he formed, which disbanded because one of its personnel resigned. From that band, he met *Mohammad Kautsar Hikmat* alias *Uki* and *Andika Naliputra Wirahardja*, also known as Andika The Titans. The three of them were always together which later formed a new band called **"Peterpan"**. Since then they started performing from cafe to cafe in the Bandung area.
Luckily, they met Noey, a producer. Armed with Ariel's distinctive appearance and vocals, Noey, who is also a former member of Java Jive, is interested in including their song in the compilation album **"Kisah 2002 Malam.**" Finally, the album was released in July 2002 and the song **"Dream Perfect"** by Peterpan managed to become a mainstay on the album. The road to the world of recording was wide open.
#### 2. Get the top band label of the best music works

Less than a year, Peterpan's album titled "**Taman Langit"** was released and once again managed to win the hearts of Indonesian music lovers. A total of 650 thousand copies were sold. They also got the Multi Platinum award and made Peterpan into the ranks of the top bands. Not only Peterpan, this success also raised Ariel's name because his handsome face and character voice made him one of the new idol figures in the Indonesian music scene. Moreover, his songs also contain very deep lyrics and are able to melt the hearts of women.
Together with Peterpan, various achievements have been achieved, including the following:
- Holding concerts in 6 provinces within 24 hours managed to register himself at the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) on July 18, 2004.
- The album *"Star in Heaven"* also managed to break the sales mark of 2 million copies within 6 months. In fact, the final total broke through 3 million copies.
- Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI) 2005, received 11 nominations and brought home 7 awards.
- In the MTV Asia Aid event which took place in Bangkok, Peterpan was chosen as Indonesia's favorite artist.
- Their third album OST Alexandria sold 1 million copies.
Unfortunately, after all the success that was achieved, two personnel Peterpan Indra and Andika left and formed a new group. The name Peterpan can no longer be used by Ariel for his band. A new name was used and finally officially changed to Noah in 2012. Together with Noah, he continued to develop his career.

In the book, titled 6903 Miles, Noah tells about the success of the concerts on 2 continents and 5 countries that they just finished. Meanwhile, the film Noah: Awal Semula tells about the ups and downs of their musical journey. In 2015, Noah also successfully held a tour to America. Ariel herself has also been involved several times as a jury in talent search events. He also had time to be one of the actors from the film The Dreamer which was adapted from the novel with the same title. Some products also had asked him to be an ad star.

- Sarah Amalia, this female figure is the only one who has succeeded in holding the status of Ariel's wife to date. The two officially married in January 2005 and have a daughter named Alleia Anata Irham. Unfortunately, their marriage had to end in 2008.
- Aura Kasih, was also reported to be close to Ariel in 2009. Even though at that time Ariel was known to be close to Luna Maya after divorcing Sarah. But at that time, Aura Kasih admitted that if she was close to Ariel, she was only a friend.
