## Birth of Scout Movement

*The Scout Movement is characterized by a series of interrelated events:*
* . Presidential / Mandatory Speech of MPRS in front of leaders and leaders representing the scouting organization located in Indonesia on 9 March 1961 at the State Palace. This event was then referred to as the Day of the Move of SCOUT Movement

## Purpose Scout Movement:

## Basic Principles of Scouting

*The Basic Principle of Scouting with Scout Values ββis the living norm of every member of the Scout Movement that is planted and grown to the learner through the process of appreciating by and for self with the help of the educator, so that the practice can be done with your own initiative, full of awareness, independence, caring, responsibility and moral attachment, both as a person and as a member of society. Every member of the Scout Movement is obliged to accept Scout Basic Scripts and Values.*
## Scouting method is a professif interactive way of learning through:

2. collaborating and competing,
3. exciting and challenging activities,
4. outdoor activities,
5. the presence of adult guidance, encouragement, and support,
6. awards in the form of proficiency marks,

## Membership in Scout Movement.

In accordance with the Household Budget Scout Movement no. 203 of 2009, has been set about the definition of membership in question is a member in the Scout Movement.
A member of the Scout Movement is an Indonesian individual who volunteers and actively enrolls as a Scout Movement Member, has participated in an introductory scouting program and has been inaugurated as a member.

a. Ordinary Member
##### Ordinary members of the Scout Movement consist of:

## The Symbol of the Scout Movement

##### This symbol was first used since August 14, 1961, when the President of the Republic of Indonesia Ir. Soekarnomenganugrahkan Panji National Education Movement of Indonesia Movement to the organization of the Scout Movement through Presidential Decree No. 448 of 1961.*
