 there's some other crazy stuff going on at the same time like those book is just like it's gory and gruesome but just so true and so good and it's gonna be one of those I'd read it in like less than a day 






I think I read it in a couple of hours and it was just these are things that happen in the world that we don't really talk about much in or at least in America we don't really talk about 







you know Asian countries and things like this going on we just kind of go oh there's countries over there as you can tell I think I only learned US history and a little bit of British history 






and that was about it in America and so it's nice to get that perspective of you know this is something that you might not always hear about but it's a thing that happened oh this makes me






 so American to say this but like it makes me feel so blessed for the things that I have like you know a house and a family and you know food 





and water and subsistence sustenance that's a word if you like the things I carried you will like this novel it's a little bit differently




 because the things I carry it is about you know Americans coming over and fighting during the Vietnam era and this is about a kid in Cambodia 




in you know the killing fields but you know same kind of non fiction feel to it I don't think that she took any liberties nothing





 I know of basically like I said interviews all of this is interviews and things like that and so it's just all stitched together 






and there's some times where you're like I think that it's like you know a month or two missing or so because you know that's that's a little book




 and so but yeah I really i enjoyed it like I said read it in a few hours and yeah I think it's a good non-fiction.
