They were all around,
They floated around,
From one memory to another,
It was all the same.

Sometimes lying down to take some rest, 
They jumped. 

These souls of all that came before,
A distant memory of the place that once was, 
of the things that once they held.

It was here,
It was near,
It was all around,
In distant hope.
