I took this photograph last autumn with my Canon AE-1 on Kodak Colorplus 200 film. The film itself really works wonders under certain lighting conditions and with certain colours, but I felt this image wasn't all that great, especially since it needed a little editing to bring out the colours. The original had a very similar tone all around and the leaves as a result weren't so nice to look at. In general, the colour was just too flat and didn't give off much of an autumn feeling.

I've been wanting to post more photography for a while now, but I happen to be sitting on quite a few rolls of film that are beginning to pile up that need to be developed; it's just the insane cost of getting certain film types developed here that has kept me from doing so. I used to shoot a lot of Kodak Colorplus 200, but have began to experiment more with others, and they aren't many local places willing to develop them. Those that can have questionable pricing and require postage, and I'm now a peasant student so the large sums per roll just aren't viable at the moment. It seems weird to say that finances are causing me to post a little less with photography, on a platform that pays.

I've been watching films and television shows quite a bit, and I have a few films I definitely want to write about here on Steem, but assignments in college have taken up quite a bit of my time given there's so much writing, and getting home relatively late just has me wanting to stay away from a keyboard and relax. That said, I've been ensuring the curation has kept at a steady pace, and it's amazing to see certain tags really growing as a result of the last hardfork and curation changes.
