actually now we can earn much more than 1k$ before, because price of steem and sbd is much higher so even if you see ~300-500$ numbers in terms of  $ its much much more than before. This pump was somekind of santa present for us:D

Nice thoughts! I certainly think people *(Steem flirts!)* will be drawn back into posting again. I analysed that point for December and already with $3 Steem there was a very significant volume of posters returning. 

It's potentially a virtuous cycle, steem rising, increasing new posters and returning posters, bringing more demand for steem. It's a great moment to engage with people you haven't seen before on the blockchain and make them feel at home!

That was a great surprise this morning, to see the Steem price!! And you're right about the "Steem flirts" - many might come back and begin posting again. But maybe this had to happen (for them) so they come back with a new commitment to the platform.

The high SBD and low Steem was great for helping minnpws grow.  I hope it happens again from time to time!  I would love another power up, and to see many others on the platform elevate at once.  I’m still trying to figure out what high Steem will mean for minnows.  It seems the high sbd did more for better distribution of wealth but I guess high Steem doesn’t hurt anyone.

Hahhaa...I'm sure the steem flirts had it well in other coins. One can't just have it all, it's all about alternative forgone. But steem is too precious to just forego like that without having loads of it. Now, just like you, sir, I foresee an increase in number of people coming on-board. Which will continue to be a big push for steem.

I think you hit the nail on the head in the New Years blog with regards to 'growing allegiance' and peoples faith in particular coins becoming stronger.

Wow.  That is so impressive @nanzo-scoop.  5,000 Followers is huge and I think we are just really getting started since I believe Steemit has a huge potential and it will keep on growing and growing.
