As a final year student in the university, looking back and evaluating my lifestyle and experience over the years, I wish I had known so many things before now, among which are but not limited to the following:
* *Ask Questions:* as a fresh student in the university, a lot of things were new (environment, new people etc.) there is need to ask questions about activities or anything of interest which I missed and wish I could turn back the hands of time but that can't be possible.
* *Get a Mentor:* A mentor is someone smarter and wiser that can walk someone through confused/difficult situations and from whom we can gain experiences/knowledge of how he/she was able to cope and made it thus far. I wish I had a mentor to lead me all this while, but I had non.
* *Explore The City*: As a student I was unable to explore the city, most of the time I am always on campus, there is the need to go out, explore the city, go places and enjoy the studentship for the time been because studentship wouldn't last for ever.
* *Be Engaged in sporting Activities*: sport has helped people in various ways like exercise, improved social life to mention but few.
* *Be Happy*: engaging in activities that brings happiness, fulfilment and increase our quality of life.
* *Make Friends*: studentship is for a period of time (duration) a period that should be taken advange of in terms of making good friends, getting to know people and improve our social life.
* *Relationship/Love*: most relationships and love in the university starts and end there on campus. There is the need to be mindful of what we invest in the relationship because we are not sure of where will head to.
* *Financial Management*: Aa students we must be able to manage our finances properly in order not to get stranded **(financial crises)**. We depend mostly on the support of our sponsors and what ever amount comes from such source or any other source should be idequately managed.
* *Study Well*: as students on campus on campus we should not forget our reasons we are on campus our time should be properly managed with deligence.
I wish I knew all of these and many more as a fresh student in the university. It would have been such a wonderful time.
