Two weeks left; in two weeks the county closes the campground and shuts off the showers.  I may stay here free of charge, but the water will be shut off.  To tell the truth I am here for two reasons: for the adventure and for the hot showers.  The cheapest hotel in this area is around $40 a night and as I have been busy, I've had no time to search forand view apartments.  That has come to an end, and this week I am signing a contract and getting ready to move forward.  I needed the adventure to distract me from my problems.  I've learned that if you do not worry about most things, they no longer actually matter.  I think I've learned this several times, but so far it hasn't stuck until now.

Dos semanas restantes; En dos semanas, el condado cierra el campamento y cierra las duchas. Puedo quedarme aquí sin cargo, pero el agua se cerrará. A decir verdad, estoy aquí por dos razones: por la aventura y por las duchas calientes. The amount of healing I've done in the last month has been humbling, to say the least.  It's a new life and adventure and I don't know where it is going.  I know where I **hope** for it to go, but where it goes, I have no clue.  I do believe in fate, though, and I hope this is it.  It feels good, and good is what I need.

La cantidad de curación que he realizado en el último mes ha sido humilde, por decir lo menos. Es una nueva vida y aventura y no sé a dónde va. Sé a dónde **espero** que vaya, pero a dónde va, no tengo idea. Sin embargo, sí creo en el destino, y espero que sea este. Se siente bien, y bien es lo que necesito.

Last week ended with the discovery of a homeless woman sleeping on the floor at work. A co-worker also noticed her and wanted to call the police, but I could get her out of there before it happened. I gave her half of my food, some winter clothes and it made me feel good to see a smile on the face of someone who was very scared when I woke her up. Last night it was well below the freezing point and she had entered the plant out of desperation, since she only had a hooded sweatshirt and worn shoes without socks. She was wet, tired and hungry. I have not seen her since then and I wish her the best.

La semana pasada terminó con el descubrimiento de una mujer sin hogar durmiendo en el piso en el trabajo. Un compañero de trabajo también la notó y quiso llamar a la policía, pero pude sacarla de allí antes de que sucediera. Le di la mitad de mi comida, algo de ropa de invierno y me hizo sentir bien ver una sonrisa en la cara de alguien que estaba muy asustado cuando la desperté. Anoche estaba muy por debajo del punto de congelación y había entrado en la planta por desesperación, ya que solo tenía una sudadera con capucha y zapatos gastados sin calcetines. Estaba mojada, cansada y hambrienta. No la he visto desde entonces y le deseo lo mejor.

I saw my girls today.  It wasn't a long visit, but we had fun.  I cannot wait until they visit me in my new apartment.  I miss the hugs when I come home from work.  At night, when I lie down unless there is a big distraction I feel their absence profoundly.  They are my world; my only flesh and blood.

Vi a mis chicas hoy. No fue una visita larga, pero nos divertimos. No puedo esperar hasta que me visiten en mi nuevo apartamento. Echo de menos los abrazos cuando llego a casa del trabajo. Por la noche, cuando me acuesto a menos que haya una gran distracción, siento su ausencia profundamente. Son mi mundo; mi única carne y sangre.
