Now in our verse today Christ is giving us the chance to go in for what we want or would like to have, and so we are either to ask, seek or knock. Now all of these actions are communication forms, and all of them involve the use of verbal communication. Yes, knocking is mostly an action that we perform with our hands but from i come from once can knock with the mouth by basically saying knock knock and it is accepted. To seek out someone or something you have to ask others about the thing and continue to search it until you find it and in seeking you definitely ask. Now these are human forms of communication, nonverbal and verbal joined together. How then do we ask God, or seek him out or knock on his door.

This can be done through prayer, prayer is our means of communication with our maker. Hence the emphasis on the need for Christians to pray and do to so on a regular basis. This is because that is means that we talk to our Maker. So prayer is important to a christian life. If you do not know how to prayer, learn to do so that you may be able to communicate well with God. Have blessed day even as you start your day with prayer and make your life a prayerful one.
