> Luke 11: 13, "If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”  [image source](https://pixabay.com/photos/man-fog-silhouette-kneeling-kneel-1868418/) As Christians we are very much aware the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives, he was sent as Christ was leaving to be our guide, our comforter, our director, our strength, our fortitude etc. But what most Christians are ignoring nowadays is the fact that the Holy Spirit whiles he is automatically available for us as Christians doesn't mean he is automatically with you. Just as becoming a Christian is a free, will, serving the Lord is a free will and any other thing we do in life we have been given our free will, having the Holy Spirit act in our lives has to come from our own free will. We have to willing to have him, we have to personally invite over and make conscious effort to wanna know him and be with him everyday. Another important point i would to put across is the fact that even after inviting the Holy Spirit he can also still leave you for just as you have your free will so does he. To ensure that the Holy Spirit stays with you, you have to do things that he also likes, you have to ensure that you are living a clean and righteous life for the Holy Spirit is a divinity of the father and just like the father also hates sin. Brethren have you invited the Holy Spirit into your life? Are you friends with him? Are you making an effort to know him more and be with him everyday? It is my prayer that each and everyone of us get to experience the Holy Spirit for themselves in their own way. Thanks for reading and have a blissful day.
