 ## Catch Up! After posting my [**#8 - Star**](https://steemit.com/teammalaysia/@nazirullsafry/inktober-9-star) the other day, I've been busy with work and other things and yesterday finally got some time to catch up! Obviously, I was to lose some momentum and my stroke was all over the place. Apologize for that. ## #14 - Clock (15 minutes)  I started with yesterday's theme and the first thing that came into my mind was **Clockwork Orange** and the main protagonist (or villian) in the classic **Stanley Kubrick** film from the year 1971. I started with 0.6 pen and it was too thick for the small size of area that I'm sketching but I tried to balance it out with 0.2 pen but its still kind of heavy :( Lesson learnt. Used some reference for the look. ___ ## #10 - Flowing (15 minutes)  I then went back to Day 10 theme, **Flowing**. I've decided to warm up my pen stroke with this one and spent 20 minutes doing overlapping curves and trying to make it close to when you draw anatomy - opposing curves. It ends up looking almost like a lion's mane to me haha. ___ ## #15 - Cruel (15 minutes)  I feel that next I need to work on my straight lines with perspectives. Also the theme reminded me of the fate of weekends on the cruelness of Mondays. So A big monstrous Monday humping on a poor weekend with likely a grey **Kuala Lumpur** morning starting and ending the working the day. ___ ## #9 - Precious (20 minutes)  I love this one the most. You would know who the silhouette is of course. And it is the first thing that came into my mind when I heard the word **precious**. And the voice of **Galadriel** saying **"and the ring came to the creature Gollum..."** with the epic background theme playing in your head. Ahh...the good times of movies. Wonder when it will come again. Feeling like my strokes are getting OK maybe because I'm not doing anything funny this time. Only straight strokes and basic shading. ___ ## #12 - Whale (30 minutes)  Also the first thing that came into my mind - the recently release book **The Billion Dollar Whale** talking about the global scam that is lead by the enigmatic **Jho Low**. Drawing him as the whale with the label **Equanimity** is a no brainer. Had to do some referencing on his portrait though, like how I did with the **Clock** entry above. ___ ## #13 - Guarded (30 minutes)  The last one before I go to bed. With **Conan the Barbarian** soundtrack playing, I can only think of a standing barbaric guard. At the end of it all, I need some story to top the whole picture. Leaving the guard standing alone looks dead. So I added an admiring fat worm at the side. Maybe its him that is being guarded from harm and danger :) # THANKS FOR DROPPING BY!
