I don't really have a lot of faith in Kevin James' films and while I think he is probably a decent guy the "hey I'm kinda fat and I'm funny because of that!" kind of wore off on me back when he first started doing films.  Then did those absolutely terrible *Paul Blart:  Mall Cop* movies.  So when I saw that he was in this it was actually more of a deterrent than an attraction.

I do however appreciate Vince Vaughn even though his character is basically the same in every movie he is in.  He's just the fast talking stone-faced dude who gets in over his head almost all the time....and that is exactly what happens in this movie (why mess with a winning formula?) 

The fact that Ron Howard was the director and a producer didn't hurt the film's chances of being pretty decent either.

The story is that Ronny and Nick (Vaughn and James, respectively) are best friends and have known one another forever, they are also partners in an auto firm that has a shot at getting a big contract with Dodge and this puts both of them, especially Nick who is the chief engineer on the project, under a great deal of stress.  One day Ronny accidentally sees Nick's wife cheating on him in public and is faced with, as the title would indicate, a real dilemma.  

He wants to tell Nick about this but knows that doing so is going to mess with Nick's head and lead to more stress and incapability of meeting the deadline they currently have with Dodge.  Therefore, he keeps it to himself and tries to convince Nick's wife, to come clean and stop the affair.

Here comes the second part of why I like this film more than I thought i would.  Channing Tatum plays the role of a guy named "Zip" and his portrayal of a late 20's bachelor with self-worth issues is just spot on and hilarious.  It also doesn't hurt that I've liked looking at Winona Ryder for pretty much my entire life (how does she look so great at nearly 50 years old?)

Critics were not particularly kind to this movie calling it "unfunny" and other such things that as a film maker of a comedy film would probably prefer people not say.  So why did I like it?  I suppose you really need to appreciate Vaughn's particular brand of humor.  I know that he is always the same character, but that character appeals to me and if you have ever enjoyed who he always plays in films, I think there is a good chance you are going to like this as well.

The movie was released in 2011, so it isn't new at all, but it was only recently added to the Netflix library.  It's kind of funny that with its huge budget spend almost certainly entirely on staffing, it failed to make back it's budget by a mere 300,000 dollars.
