The Kaepernick vs NFL Saga Is Finally Over

The NFL and Colin Kaepernick have finally settled thier differences. The NFL paid Kaepernick (and Eric Reid who also knelt during the anthem) an undisclosed amount. 

It is hard to say who the ‘winners’ are in this case. Clearly Kaepernick presumably feels vindicated that he is getting paid. This makes his protest and lawsuit not in vain in his opinion. 

The NFL must also feel relieved to put this story behind them. The fact that it is an undisclosed amoubt implies that it was a much larger amount than the NFL wanted to pay.
