3500 pieds piste montante Beauce/Québec

Il y a quelques semaines j'ai dû retourner à ma base pour une petite maintenance sur l'avion.   J'ai allumé ma Gopro et j'ai eu la surprise en regardant le contenu par la suite.  C'est incroyable la qualité d'image que ces petites caméras nous offre.

L'aéroport CSZ4 de St-Frédéric en Beauce au Québec est une petite piste privée de 3500 pieds orienté 05/23 et descendante vers l'est.  Elle appartient à une entreprise Grondair Aviation qui opère comme école de pilotage, service de travail aérien ainsi que taxi aérien.

La piste descendante offre un dénivelé de 150 pieds, ce qui est bon pour décoller mais pour atterrir, avec le Cessna 310, le Navajo et le King air, tous les atterrissages se font vers l'ouest.  Et juste pour ajouter au plaisir, en atterrissant piste montante vers l'ouest, environ ¼ de mile en finale une colline d'un peu plus de 200' nous offre généralement une jolie brise catabatique accompagnée d'un petit vent de dos.
