Anyone who trains hard has probably copped an overuse injury at some point or another. It's an injury that occurs not because you fell over or crashed into something, but because of the wear on your body caused by repetitive movements. I've had tendonitis in my forearms for maybe 10 years now... and it's something I've really struggled to manage. I was hoping that since I hadn't trained for 10/11 months due to my Climber's Elbow (overuse) injury that the tendonitis wouldn't be an issue as I slowly built up strength again.... but it's bounced right in like it never left the second I trained a few days in a row. The silver lining is that I can try and manage it from this early point (week 6 our of 54 weeks) and hopefully build up way more strength than I was able to this time last year. Maybe. We'll see. I'll let the physical therapists know about it too, maybe they'll have some new and exciting ideas!
