Oh, no need to apologise at all... 

The Steemit interface is only one way to access the Steem Blockchain, and it doesn't show you where you've been mentioned/tagged.  The other interfaces like Busy.Org or D.Tube do tell you though - but honestly, it's not a big deal at all... we're just super excited that you're here!
