Hello friends :)

Lately, I have been reading a ton of LitRPG books. It is becoming one of my favorite genres, which is odd because I have never heard of it before. If you don't know what it is, I totally understand. Here is a decent summation from Wikipedia:

> LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of RPGs with science-fiction and fantasy novels.[1] Games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story and visible RPG statistics (for example strength, intelligence, damage) are a significant part of the reading experience. This is in contrast to GameLit, which involves game-like worlds but does not typically provide visible statistics. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel may understand that they are playing a game or are in a game-like world: they are 'meta-aware'

Ready Player One is a fairly well known aspect of this genre, though the genre has a lot of grey areas. That is why the term LitGame seems a little more inclusive to me, and is one I would prefer using. But that is a semantics argument that's not super relevant.

There is also the Life Reset series, which I mentioned in an earlier post about my favorite books. 

The reason I mention these books is not just to share some good novels with all of you. They're all published as Kindle novels, so it seems like something that would be easy to breach into on my own.

I'm not sure what is really drawing me to do this. Perhaps it is all the reading I have done, or the interesting exploration of where virtual reality technology could take humanity. But, I think I would like to try my hand at it. 

I have an idea of writing about a Space Saga-esque RPG game, with aliens, dogfights, lightsabers, psychic abilities, etc. I was thinking I could potentially expand upon my IFC stories, but I'm not sure how I could or if I want to. I think someday I'll pick that back up, though I can't say I know when that'll be, and I'm sorry to everyone who was wanting more story there. Perhaps if there is enough interest I would work on that first.

What I'm curious about is if people would like to have input on my story. I was thinking I could see about doing a chapter or so at a time, and posting it with a major plot question at the end, to drive the story going forward. I kind of think having that sort of reader interaction in the story would be fun, though it could also make the whole process more challenging.

Does anyone have any suggestions, thoughts, concerns, etc on this? I would greatly appreciate it.
