**HOPE DEFILES SHAME.**

One thing true hope does not allow is shame. If you are hoping in God for that which He has promised you, one thing too certain for contest is that you will not be ashamed. If you are seeking for God to show up based on what He has told you; one thing that can NEVER happen is for your enemies to confront you asking you – “Ah, ah where is thy God”? if you are trusting in His Word, you will not see shame: for _“he that believeth on Him shall not be confounded” (1 Peter 2:6)._
If it’s God you are trusting, you shall not see shame. The Psalmist proclaimed – “O my God, I trust in Thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me” (Psalm 25:2) and in Psalm 119:116 – He said – “let me not be ashamed of my hope”. If it is hope in God and not in some self styled kind of arrangement or manipulation; you will not be ashamed, because hope in God defiles shame.
Hope in God is sourced from the Word He has spoken. It is not rooted in presumption, neither is it birthed by the wild imaginations of your fleshly mind. The Psalmist proclaimed in psalm 119:49 – “Remember the Word unto Thy servant upon which Thou hast caused me to hope”. When your hope is built on the Word of God, you will stand to celebrate and be celebrated; because, it is sure to come through:
*
“Hope maketh not ashamed”. Hope is the live wire of faith, for faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. What gives substance to your faith is the Word of God which has gone forth concerning you, whose manifestation you hope to see. God Who in commitment to his Word has vowed to honor His Word above His name, will not dash your hope. Hope in God and His Word will always prevail.

The Bible says in Psalm 37:5
_“Commit thy way unto the LORD, trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass”._
Your hope in God is sure to put you over; but, God waits to see your commitment to the hope you proclaim. “Hope that is seen is not hope:… But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it” (Romans 8:24-25). Your commitment to hope is seen by the level of perseverance displayed and with it, you will not be ashamed.
