ART EXPLOSION WEEK 36: Theme CITY.

Saludos! Compañeros de steemit. Aqui mi participacion para el <a href="https://steemit.com/art/@juliakponsford/art-explosion-week-36-theme-city-25-steem-in-prizes">ART EXPLOSION WEEK 36: Theme CITY</a>. 
Asi que, me inspiré en el cuento/poema de Italo Calvino "La ciudades y los intercambios 5" de su libro "Las Ciudades Invisibles" (que es toda una joya y pueden descargar completo <a href="http://www.uabierta.uchile.cl/c4x/Universidad_de_Chile/UCH_11/asset/Calvino1970.pdf">aquí</a>)

So, I was inspired by Italo Calvino's story / poem "Cities and exchanges 5" from his book "The Invisible Cities"

Me fastidia la calidad de la imagen, pero esta semana solo dispongo de la cámara de mi telefóno, que es más bien mala.
El tema de la ciudad esta muy fuera de mi zona de confort y eso fue un buen estimulo para participar. Tengo que admitir que no estoy del todo satisfecha con el resultado, me gustaria seguir trabajan esta pieza por más tiempo, pero fechas límites son fechas límites.

Aquí un poco del proceso: La verdad es que no tiene ciencia, empecé dibujando algunos cubos en isometría a los que les fui añadiendo más y más cosas. Utilicé tinta y acuarela principalmente, y algunos lapices de colores para definir. A ultimo momento me dio un ataque porque pensé que con la calidad de la cámara de mi teléfono se perdería todo y me puse a pasar algunas lineas con marcador negro. Resulta que no se pierde tanto como yo creía.

The theme of the city is very out of my comfort zone and that was a good encouragement to participate. I have to admit that I am not entirely satisfied with the result, I would like to continue working this piece for longer, but deadlines are deadlines.

Here a bit of the process: The truth is that it has no science, I started drawing some cubes in isometry to which I was adding more and more things. I used ink and watercolor mainly, and some colored pencils to define. At the last moment I had an attack because I thought that with the quality of my phone's camera everything would be lost and I started to pass some lines with a black marker. It turns out that it is not lost as much as I thought.

Un hermoso y atractivo dibujo, @octocel. Me gusta ese juego con las estructuras (un poco a lo "Escher" quizás), las formas diversas combinadas y el inestable equilibrio de los colores.  ¡Ah, y *Las ciudades invisibles* es un libro bello y seductor.
