ART EXPLOSION WEEK 51: Theme PARANORMAL

Hello again after a looong, long time
As part of my break from the tasks necessary to finish my university studies, I have decided to make an entry for the 51st edition of Art Explosion, a contest in which it is always a pleasure to participate, although I can not do it as often as I would like.

I tried to pick up the concept by going to some symbols associated with paranormal activity, such as the goat (from a very dark imaginary) and the snake (magic and cyclical time). There are also aspects of my drawing that I can not explain, because they are part of those mysterious things in art. 
Next, I explain the process a bit.

Before remembering that I should take pictures of the process I started drawing so I do not have a picture of the raw sketch. The first thing was, of course, to decide the composition of the image and then look for references (I had to see many pictures of cute boys, what a nightmare!). Once the drawing was ready I started to work with watercolor, not only because I like it, but because when you are not sure of the colors you are going to use (like me in this case) you can cover the watercolor with colors and / or acrylic paint (unless, of course, that you are using the technique in a pure way).

Then I used colors to define and add some details of the illustration and acrylic paint to change a couple of colors that I regretted having put in.

To finish, with a fine marker I added the whole weft and broke some contours.

This sure is an art explosion. You did well in trying to convey your idea in this painting, it looks creepy and somewhat mysterious but somehow, the colors you chose kind of make the creepiness of the painting a bit subtle which I think is cool.

Look at that goat's horn.... I didn't even realize it was the horn at first....

That is really a symbol for paranormal activity, like the creation, first the way how you presented these three heads with their eyes, they are like not really alive, or I would say they are not human now, may be were but not anymore. First I did not noticed the goat but only horns, but then I saw it may be because of black color. Like the way you made a dramatic sky with bloody moon. Absolutely creepy and great mysterious composition :)
