You're absolutely right. My favorite quote used to be: "If you love something, then let it go. If it comes back, grab it. But if it doesn't, then it never was."  

But I guess this doesn't work like this in the real world.  The truth is, if you truly love something, then hold tight unto it and never let it go.

I think she is only putting up a defensive mechanism, the babe might have been through a lot emotionally and all she has got left is the defense... 
She shows so much strength on the outside...

Sometimes we let ourselves get in the way, our pride, our past and ego.

I love Cee-c too but I think she has someone else. And thank God she didn't give in to Tobi's proposals, that would have led them to messing up in the house just the way Nina (Toilet girl) and Teddy did.

Or maybe Tobi just doesn't have the qualities she needs in a man.

Reminds me of your post earlier about feminism. Most ladies who liked cee c on the show are actually the rebelious type of women. Even if they are dying for a man who is interested in them, they will keep making things difficult for him.

@ogoowinner, one thing most couple don't understand is that they is no vaccume in life, secondly, pride goes before a fall.

The very moments you because of pride leave what suppose to be yours down because of pride, another person who is ready to love him or her wholeheartedly will surely manifest instantly, although if the former person loves you so much that he/she can't leave you, but if you continue in your pride, the love will fade gradually and the new person will start gaining ground till he/she has your love in higher percentage than the former person and he/she will loose it all just because of pride and at the end of the day may seek for an opportunity to return but would not find it anymore because the vaccume which he/she created has been occupied by or sold to another by yourself.

I didn't follow the big brother TV show so I really don't know about the characters but when it comes to the issue of love no man's mind can comeprehend se a few years back I met a girl she is very beautiful and has the kindest of heart and then I just moved to her city so I became friends with her and all that I loved her I still do but then she had a boyfriend and unknown to me d boyfriend she had was a guy I met few weeks after u met her and we became friends so when I asked her about her relationship status she said that she was single I believed her but when I asked her out she said no and I wondered why so I decided to make some findings of my own I asked around and later found out she was dating my friend and the relationship wasn't good and you know guys now I already told him I liked her not knowing they were dating but then this guy really likes her but he just messes up a lot and he embarrasses the girl everywhere I couldn't do anything about it so as not to break d bro code but I tried helping them work things out {can u imagine how love works}this went on for about 2 years during that period I met many girls some of them even asked me out but I wasn't just getting that connection that I needed so after 2 years the guy had to leave town for a long time so he broke up with her then I came in and now we're in a happy relationship so you see matters of the heart cannot be controlled by the head that is why some say love is blind love is dis love is dat but in reality love I beautiful, kind... E.t.c

I love the show also but Cee c losses something very important in her life and she lacks many things

Beautiful write up. Though I didn't watch BBN  this year but I can't help but agree that the best way to show you love someone is to treat them the right way cos your actions in hurting them will always end up hurting you too.

Due to one reason or the other I never followed this show not even for once, but friends who follow them up bring their stuff close to my hearing..  well as for me there is a saying that "if you expose your beans cake to goat without you know it, goat will already finish it up" meaning what you love or care for shouldn't be taking for granted.. grap it and embrace without let go of it..

I think the best way to love is to show it, it still remains a misery to me when people claim to love one another and they still act in a totally different way.
