Steemit In Nigeria is a conference and also an hangout section organized by Nigeria Curators

and other notable steemians to drive and steer the future of steemit in a notable Africa country called **Nigeria**
The organizers behind this program have done the needful and the program is scheduled to hold on **the 2nd and 3rd of November, 2017 at Conference Center Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ofe , Osun state , Nigeria**

This post is  about the Steemit In Nigeria program and all SBD generated from this post will be sent to @leadent360 to support the upcoming event.

I tagged this post ***"Independence of steemit"*** as the inspiration was gotten from the fact that *my motherland is celebrating her 57th Independence anniversary*. ***HappyIndependence Day to all Nigeria.***
On that fateful day in November , steemit will be getting its independence also and the journey begins from that moment. Most Nigerians have not heard the gospel according to @honourmaus , but before and after this day the gospel will reach all corner and crooks of Nigeria. Steemit is here to stay !!!

## What Steemit in Nigeria can achieve from this 

The purpose and ideology of steemit as stated in the white paper by Ned Scott and Dan Larimer, creator of BitShares as released in March 2016 can be shared and stated. The fact that rewards in monetarily value can be derived from this community , steemit should not be regarded as a HYIP (High Yield Investment Programs) and also as Ponzi schemes or probably a Scamming scheme. 
Most Nigerians are taking steemit for money- making and the ideology behind writing good contents abstaining from plagiarism is not heeded to. 
With this conference , enlightenment must be addressed and should be placed with greatest worth. 

## Why I feel I should be at the "Steemit In Nigeria"

Am not new to the rules and techniques to steemit operation including the ideology , but I don't think I know all about Steemit yet. 
I want to know more about the genesis and the spreading of this wonderful virus of encouraging good writers. 
Moreover, I need to meet legends. I need to get a conversation with some important personalities on this community and learn the art of getting success in little findings. From the curators @gbenga @ehiboss @ogowinner @fisteganos @destinychild to great contributors such as @maryflavour @oluwoleolaide @gloglo @lucashunter and to my #Euronation members @eurogee @sweetestglo-eu @smyle @amec @sussan @ewuoso @jeaniepearl and many more. 

From my thinking and plans  , a 2-days program isn't enough. 
# a week camping is better

## How Steemit In Nigeria can succeed

First and foremost , funds need to be available to run such a program. A Yoruba adage was translated to "a better and delicious meal is attributed to the value and worth of money used in the preparation". Funds need to be raised and the idea brought in by @ehiboss is great

Also, participation is important. The program is not for the chairs and tables rented or acquired, we need to be there. Far and near Nigeria Steemian should make it a point of preference - it's just a tour in disguise to those that have not been to the part of Nigeria. 

## What I hope to achieve

These categories of individual above is what I look forward to. 

## Other suggestions 

Publicity
I am certain a level of publicity has been carried out by the organizers , so therefore other members and participant should take this as a point of obligation to publicize this program. 
Let's bomb facebook with the logo above , let a new and powerful trend begin on twitter , let every WhatsApp picture and story have the **Steemit In Nigeria logo**
Customize polos and shirts to take effect. Every group organized on behalf of steemit can use this also as a medium to promote such group and also to promote "Steemit In Nigeria"
Am passing this as a suggestion to the leaders of #Euronation that a customized shirt with " Steemit In Nigeria logo " , Euronation tag beneath and individual personal username behind can be adopted.
