I do get various news notification on my Chrome browser from time to time on a daily basis. Just about some hours ago, I came across a news that Shaggy turns down the request to be featured in Rihanna Reggae Album as it was put to me by Urban Islandz in this [article](https://urbanislandz.com/2020/01/09/shaggy-turns-down-rihanna-feature-reggae-album/amp/).

The Grammy award winning Dancehall star who is also popularly known as Mr. Boombastic was reportedly said to have shut down the chance to feature in the album where several Jamaican writers, collaborators and musicians such as Koffee have also been enlisted to be featured in the reggae album.

The Dancehall legend, Shaggy is said to have confirmed this in an interview with UK Daily Star, and he further said he decided to do that so that can serve as an opportunity for younger dancehall mad reggae artist to soar high via this much anticipated reggae album of one of the greatest musician of all time.

While being interviewed, Shaggy said in a statement that  “They approached me for the Rihanna project, yeah. There’s a lot of great people involved, but for me, I didn’t need to audition to be on the record,” Shaggy said. “I’ll leave that to younger guys. But from what I hear it should be good.”

I really this is a good one from the dancehall legend and it is well thought of him as he is giving the young ones the platform to reach the top. He is not a greedy man as far as am concerned. This is such a selfless act from him and I give him Kudos for this.
