Today is such a wonderful, warm day! the mood from this immediately gorgeous!

In one of the beds I saw a favorite heliotrope! I love this wonderful plant, especially for its sweet aroma, which is a bit like vanilla. He looks amazing, of course! At our site it is more saturated blue, and here in the garden it is more purple, although it looks far from blue from a distance.

Every year when choosing new plants for my garden, I always try to buy something new and beautiful. With heliotrope not lost! such beautiful, lush inflorescences will decorate with themselves any flowerbed! In addition to its decorative appearance, these bushes will also be filled with an enchanting scent!

South America is considered the birthplace of this plant. In those tropical latitudes, the plant is mostly perennial and grows long in one place. But we have seeds sold annually. Since they are not able to survive the winter. I noticed that the plant turns its inflorescences toward the sun, it grows a bit in the shade, because of the higher bushes next to it. But it seemed to me. When the sun goes away, leaving a shadow on the floor, the flowers seem to reach for the light.

Depending on the variety, the height of the plant varies. Our bushes are not tall at all, literally 30 centimeters. But in a botanical garden, I saw large ones, probably more than 60 cm. The color scheme is: bright blue, blue, purple and white. By the way, low grades are very convenient to plant in hanging pots, it looks very impressive!

In early April, we sowed the seeds and enjoy this beauty since July! On average, flowering, after planting, will begin in 3-4 months. This fact should be taken into account, if you want to see this miracle earlier, then it is worth sowing seeds in early March. Accordingly, if later, before the middle of July, you will not wait.

As it turns out choosing a place, we chose not quite right. Best of all will be sunny, without drafts. And most importantly, they understood that the plant loves attention and feeding to itself. If you want lush leaves, and they are very beautiful and I like their texture, then every 2-3 weeks, after the evening watering, you need to feed. You can use any organic complexes, or compost, manure.

As for watering, I can only say one thing: this plant does not like drought !!!! The ground should be loose and wet as soon as there is not enough moisture, the inflorescences dry out a bit and in general the plant loses its decorative appearance. But it is not worth pouring, the root system can easily rot. So everything in moderation!
