Steemit - blockchain медиа платформа. Глазами разработчика. часть 1
Всем привет! Как и обещал, выкладываю первую часть моего будущего доклада. Для опытных пользователей steemit, возможно, большая часть из этого уже известна. Однако, новичкам это будет полезно. Ниже  я  оставлю ссылку на слайды. Там же можно оставить коментарии, я обещаю их все  прочитать и ответить. Спасибо!

Существует огромное количество компаний, использующих контент сгенерированный пользователями в качестве бизнес модели. Они построили много миллионный, некоторые даже много миллиардный бизнес на том, что пользователи дают им совершенно бесплатно.

Данная бизнес модель имеет несколько очевидных проблем.
Первая  - несправедливость распределения доходов. Большая часть компаний совсем не делятся доходами. Некоторые, в числе которых youtube, платят создателям контента менее 10% от прибыли. Из открытых источников:   youtube за 2017 заработал около 4 млрд, а выплатил около 250 млн.
Вторая проблема - цензура. Правительство, силовые структуры, могут с легкостью заставить убрать неудобную информацию.
Третья - централизация. Платформа может с легкостью менять правила игры, менять алгоритмы ранжирования, статистику и т.д. Программный код, алгоритмы, скрыты от пользователей.

Steemit - позволяет строить проекты основаные на user-generated контенте, лишенные этих недостатков.

Dan Larimer уже к тому времени был очень известной фигурой в мире блокчейна, успел поработать над технологией Graphene и стать сооснователем BitShares. По его словам, переписывался с Сатоши Накамото во время первых лет работы над биткоином. Ned Scott связался с Dan Larimer и предложил поработать над проектом для страховых компаний, позволяющего сохранять большие объемы текстовых данных в блокчейне.  Но очень скоро они увидели гораздо больший потенциал и переключились в сферу социальных медиа.

Капитализация 815 млн, 1.6 млн транзакций в день, CUI - отношение текущей дневной активности к максимальной пропускной способности.
AVI Meter (Activity Valuation Index) - отношение активности к капитализации.

Недавно steemit.com вошел в 1000 самых посещаемых сайтов в мире.

Быстро растет количество активных пользователей, 250к постов в день, 700к голосов.

Из этого можно сделать следующий вывод - steem самый активно используемый блокчейн с большим запасом прочности. На мой взгляд, у него отличный потенциал.

Потому что Лаример работает в стиле "помотросил и бросил"))) Он сам говорил, "что строить корабли, чтобы другие могли плавать на них". Злые же языки говорят, что он просто понци-схимер и выдоив предыдущий проект, переходит к новому.
