The Great Act of Negotiation.
Negotiation is not an inbuilt gene, it is an act that can be learned by anyone who is willing to learn. The act of negotiation could be learnt from personal experience or lesson obtained from people who are good at what they do and are ready to teach others.

The act of negotiation is not for a certain group of persons, negotiation as an act should be learnt by the rich and the poor. A lot of people totally ignore the idea of negotiation until they have to learn through costly personal experience. When it comes to negotiation, there is always a winner. Remember that when it comes to winning in negotiation, it does not mean that the other party may lose, in the game of negotiation it takes both party to agree in the favour of one party when compared with the other. Take the case of a woman who sells rice in the market for instance, if she purchased the rice at the rate of 500 Naira and she plans to sell it at the rate of 600 Naira in order to make a profit of 100 Naira, but during the process of negotiation, a very good customer wants to purchase all the rice she has but she is willing to buy it at the rate of 550 Naira only, after series of negotiation, the rice seller may decide to just give in to the price the customer is offering after considering certain factors, this does not mean that she has lost, but it does mean that the person buying the rice is the winner in this particular negotiation deal.

In order to become a winner while negotiating, you must be able to set specific objectives and put in considerable effort to stay at the winning side. Winners in negotiation have a good way to conduct themselves, and they leave the other party satisfied at the end of the deal.
There is always a best place and time to negotiate, while negotiating, look out for those things, it will give you an edge.

You should be able to discern what your next line of action will be if the negotiation fail, before you begin a negotiation process at all, you have to strategize on what you will do next if the process fails.

Do not be too fast to give a response while negotiating, you may regret the reason why you said yes too early.

Learn the habit of keeping quiet and allow the other party speak.
