US government and military were kind of fast this time in catching the culprit, but somehow I doubt they had all the facts, probably acted brashly.

Of course it was a false flag the US have no real evidence, just presumptions. And it is totally illogical that Assad you do something like that knowing the implications. It makes zero sense.
