Auction Finds - Art Edition!

<p><strong>The auctions are back in full swing, and all sorts of art work is crossing my table again. I am excited by this, as towards the end of last year an art dealer, with a gallery in an upmarket shopping centre, has started purchasing my listings fairly regularly.</strong></p>

<p>These two original pieces are my favourites, but I could not identify the artists.</p>

<p>This painting is by the Japanese Impressionist Hayashi Nobuo, who was born in 1925 and produced most of his works in the middle of last century. I found quite a few of his works for sale online so he must have been quite prolific, but I couldn't find any detailed biographical information on him. The prices asked for his works also vary quite a bit. I have listed this painting for R850 ($70).</p>

<p>Above are a combination of prints and original works, ending with what I think is a very festive picture!!! I think there should be something here to cater to a wide variety of tastes!</p>

I loved the third piece... I'm very surprised by the interpretation that could be given... A forest, a path and you just crossing it. Something like the path of life...

All these paintings are very nice and cheerful! The first painting reminds me of a Chinese painting.  The other paintings of post-impressionist style are very easy to enjoy.  The last one is a lot of fun!
