Birthday Bonanza!!!

<p><strong>The time of the year to celebrate many special people has arrived! On Sunday it was my middle son, Gabriel's thirteenth birthday, and today is my sister's birthday. I have had a little fun making photo compilations which suit their unique and special energies.</strong></p>
<p>My son was born on Diwali, so his birth was accompanied by fireworks and bangs! I had to have an emergency cesarean, so I was pretty foggy and found the fireworks quite surreal. I do remember as soon as the nurses left my hospital room, I somehow managed to get him out of his crib and let him sleep on my chest all night. It was a dangerous thing to do, but I couldn't imagine him being anywhere else! I was scolded in the morning. I didn't care.</p>

<p>Gabriel is a sensitive, gentle and caring soul. He loves computers and hates having his hair cut. He is unfailingly pleasant and helpful and I count myself extremely lucky to be blessed by his energy everyday. I can already see the signs of the man he is to become, and I am at peace.</p>

<p>My sister, Bergita, is three years younger than me, and at times I have been a dragon of an older sister, especially when we were younger. She emigrated to New Zealand ten years ago and has built a successful life there, achieving much and I am so proud of her. I think Bergita is more sensitive than me and I can feel quite protective over her, but now that I am older, I try not to be as bossy as I was when I was a child. We are going to visit over Christmas and I simply can't wait!!!</p>

<p>This is only the beginning of my birthday bonanza. I have the birthdays of my daughter and youngest son in December, as well as my dad. My best friend's two children also have birthdays in December, and my niece's birthday is in early January. I forecast lots of cake in my future!!! And my daughter has real skills in the kitchen, she makes the best cakes ever.</p>

The cake looks very good.  Perhaps, the baker could share the recipe and make a video tutorial for us!!
