Hi Dear Community and Friends, the environment encompasses, the land, waters, vegetations, animals and human being in it. Everything we see around us can said to be the environment. Nature too is wonderful to the esense that everything we need to develop the human capabilities are embedded in this environment.

The psychology of human development and capability is based on how we interact, effect and mingle with this environment. If we are really exposed to the environment, the environment will of course make friends with us; on the same way, if we aren't expose well with the environment, there will be some hatred between us and the environment, and that what my studies tell. And this a real experienced I personally encountered and I vowed never to treat my children in that manner.

I am a type of cool guy, lost my parent at tender age around age six. We are patrilineal inheretance, so they took me to my father's side relatives. All my doomed will be shifted to one of my Aunt, who accept to wean me and take the responsibility. This Aunt was so strict that she didn't want me to even go out and play with my friends, so if you don't see me at home, I would be found in farm. In the home, always I would be assign to household chores; fetching water from well, cooking, pounding 'fufu,' cracking palm kernels and a whole lot of activities. One character that made me become inferiority complex with people of which In will shift the blame to my Aunt is *"shouting at me, insulting and discouraging me of being useless on this Earth."* And within me I always feel the pain of that behavior my Aunt used to treat me.
God being so good I escaped to my Grandmother and determined never to come to my Aunt's house to stay again, and my Grandmother also understood and received me. But I made my mind never to let that maltreatment on the part of my Aunt to hunt me since I was still young to recover a lot of challenges I had gone through. To my Aunt, she thought that it was the only way to strengthen me or hardening me in life, but it was too hash for a parent to do that.
Psychologically, I sat down and calculated a lot of things which have gone wrong on my way. Because as a brilliant student and you feel jittery to speak in public, mix with your colleague, feel shy and always found yourself isolated and lonely is very bad. Though some of these things are likely to occur naturally, but to my case it was serious to control. So, I determined vehemently not to let this problem engulf my life, since mankind is subject to change. Gradually I was able to controlled it to some extent.
I learned that there is a necessity of learning your children to interact with their environment. Whether at home or in school, I entreat people that I meet that they should the children more room to interact rather than infringing on their right for freedom. There are more benefit for exposing these children to the environment; the environment tend to eliminate all shyness, fear, stress and depresions which we normally keep upon ourselves. In as much as we are exposed, we become happy and forget some of our problems.
