From the last edition we introduce something new and unique to this series by dedicating each edition to great steemit Ambassador who has made immense contribution, and are still contributing at various capacities to the growth of this community. So, the second edition was dedicated to @surpassinggoogle also known as boy Terry. He is the initiator of so many projects on this platform e.g #steemgigs interface, #untalented contest, #singsong-untalented contest, @steemsecrets series and many others just to mention few. 

In this very edition, I will be dedicating it to no other person than @ejemai, the brain behind the Steem Accelerator Hub (@stach) project, which in summary gives steemians at 3 locations presently in Nigeria the opportunity to have free internet facility and 24 hours supply of electricity for the purpose of creating awareness for the platform. So that anyone visiting the hub will be able to enjoy the mentioned benefit free of charge. The project is really growing bigger now even beyond the shores of the country. <b>This and many other reasons is why this edition is dedicated to @ejemai; we love you and we celebrate your impact. <b>THE SONG FOR THIS EDITION</b>
My song for today is titled <b>IRE meaning Goodness</b> by one of Nigeria’s popular artist, an urban highlife singer named <b>ADEKUNLE GOLD.</b> It was released February 23rd, 2018 and is been topping different musical chats both on radio and television stations all over the country and even outside the country. The story behind the songs was that, the visual in the video and message in the song ‘IRE’ was shot to eulogize the artist younger sister who died in 2011 due to heart complications.

The sing was produced by Seyikeyz, and the video was directed by Aje; shot in various locations around Lagos, Nigeria, including Ajegunle, Ikoyi, Ajah and Ikorodu.

**MY VIEW ABOUT THE SONG**
I like the African flare introduced to the song. The genre of the song is highlife in nature, which was perfectly utilized in the way the beat (i.e. the talking drum) was been introduced, and the theme (message) in the song was uniquely described by the percussion as played in the song. The song sounded more like a typical Africa highlife piece, though a lot of creativity and originality in terms of delivery from the artist and its producers was rightly on point.

Furthermore, if you consider the lyrics of the song as shown above, you will agree with me that the poetic acumen of the artist (who is the original writer of the piece) is so beautiful and mind blowing. The way the message was poetically penned down in a story like style, made the message in song easy to understand and comprehend for even a novice that does not know anything about music. 

Then the core message speaks about how close an individual is to his/her breakthrough and success he has been longing. It shows how our struggles and effort sometimes doesn’t really matter, because the success that you desire is just around corner. In other word, is just around the corner looking at you right in the eyes waiting for you to take action. And it also means that those that worries about things all the time should have a change of attitude, because life is good and filled with GOODNESS.

I am really not surprise how a lot of artist either upcoming or already established artist are doing different COVER of this song. If you still doubt my claim then check Youtube to confirm. Don’t forget that the song was released in February, 2018, but the achievement in terms of popularity and acceptance by music lovers all over for the song is enormous and record breaking.
