Bonjour à tous !

Deuxième post sur mon costume fétiche, cette fois-ci, sur la pièce la plus complexe et travaillée : le casque. Je posterai les WIP en deux parties, car il est difficile de condenser trois mois de travail !

# Recherches / Sketchs

# Matériaux

- de l'argile
- du worbla (plastique thermoductile, je ferai un post dessus s'il y a des intéressés :) )Finest, Black et Transpa Art.
- de la peinture acrylique
- de la peau de lapin, des cornes de vache et des cornes de mouton (fonctionne aussi très bien avec de la fausse fourrure / *pour les défenseurs de la cause animale, je précise que je n'achète jamais de fourrures : je les récupère dans des vides greniers ou autres débarras, car je préfère que ces bêtes sacrifiées sur l'autel de la culture humaine ne finissent pas en tas de moisi au fond d'une poubelle. Quand aux cornes, elles proviennent d'un abattoir, au lieu de les envoyer en farine animale pour faire des granulés.*).
- de la cléocolle (colle blanche sans solvant)
- des aimants plats puissance 8kg, diamètre 2.5cm
- du scotch d'électricien noir (scotch avec une armature en nylon pour al solidité)
- polystyrène
- du tapis mousse (type tapis de gym)
- billes plates pour la déco
- diverses ficelles
- oiseaux aimantés
- perles en oeil de tigre, citrine et bois

> - rabbit skin, cow horns and sheep horns (also works very well with fake fur / *for advocates of the animal cause, I make it clear that I never buy furs: I pick them up in empty granaries or other storage rooms, because I prefer that these animals sacrificed on the altar of human culture do not end up in a pile of moulds at the bottom. As for horns, they come from a slaughterhouse, instead of sending them as animal meal to make pellets.*).

# Principe de port / Principle of wearing
La mâchoire est **articulée grâce à des aimants**. Je peux la déboîter intégralement, ce qui facilite son transport, et fait bien rigoler les médiévistes lorsque je me déboîte la mâchoire devant eux.
Le casque présente des points d'appui sur le dessus du crâne, sur le front et sur la nuque. Le poids est équilibré avec la mâchoire ; sans, il a tendance à pencher en arrière.
Je ne l'ai pas pesé, mais son poids me permet de le porter deux heures maximum d'affilée, sans quoi des douleurs à la nuque risquent de survenir.

> The jaw is articulated by magnets. I can disengage it completely, which makes it easier to transport, and makes the medievalists laugh when I move my jaw in front of them.
The helmet has points of support on the top of the skull, forehead and neck. Weight is balanced with the jaw; without it, it tends to lean backwards.
I didn't weigh it, but its weight allows me to carry it for a maximum of two hours in a row, otherwise neck pain may occur.

Placement de bandes en tapis mousse pour l'amorti. Création d'un "sur-moule" en argile, pour que la pièce de base en worbla soit légèrement plus large que mon crâne et permette aux coussins amortissant de faire leur effet.

Taille des crocs dans du polystyrène extrudé (polystyrène d'isolation vendu en plaques). Ensuite, je les positionne, puis je les recouvre de worbla et je les fixe à la mâchoire avec ce même worbla (il colle quand on le chauffe, c'est super pratique).

> Hook size in extruded polystyrene (isolation polystyrene sold in sheets). Then I position them, then cover them with worbla and attach them to the jaw with this same worbla (it sticks when you heat it up, it's very practical).

Ici j'utilise encore la technique de moulage de l'argile : après avoir créé ma forme, je peux la recouvrir de worbla puis retirer l'argile, ce qui me laisse une forme creuse, légère, et moulée sur-mesure.

Dégagement des perles en verre grâce au fer à souder. Attention : le plastique brûlé, ça pue ! à faire dans une pièce bien ventilée et avec un masque.
