Why we must stop hurting the environment
The fire didn't only burn where it dropped this time. In the previous six days, 137 fires have engulfed 35 regions, destroying everything inside. Sabotage discourse, political rhetoric, global warming's influence, a lack of technical equipment... The anguish we felt was exacerbated by a slew of unanswered questions that needed to be explored and researched.

I felt the sadness of having to say goodbye to locations where I couldn't breathe oxygen, view its beauty, meet the inhabitants in it, or even walk on its dirt. Countless trees, living things, people, and memories have perished. Our bees, which are critical to the ecosystem's functioning, were set on fire. The exquisite Aegean pine honey has come to an end.

First and foremost, we wanted to wrap our wound as soon as possible. We made the decision to reforest the burned regions right away. We wanted to preserve the greenery we had lost, care for it, and replace it with new plants. Then we learned that even assistance goes through a stage.

There are people living there, as well as critters, and there is a major calamity. We understood that reaching out to the firefighting teams, volunteers, and people affected by the fire was more essential than planting trees; we knew that we needed to reach out to the firefighting teams, volunteers, and individuals affected by the fire. Then we were concerned as the number of difficulties for which we sought assistance grew. We revolted, perhaps because we didn't think we were good enough, or because we were tired of so many calamities happening at the same time.

I am aware that hundreds of fires have harmed not only the forests but also the lives of those who live there. Many people's hearts were scorched by it, especially those who had positive thoughts about life, living, and the beauty of life. I felt very powerless and depressed on the third day of the fire, but my condition is still not very bright, but I don't feel as hopeless as I did on the third day. So, what went wrong? I wanted to jot down the things that are beneficial to me in the hopes that they will resonate with you as well.

First and foremost, I participated in a short rite that Asu Mansur had requested. On the parched soil of the tree in front of my door, I poured three glasses of water. After then, I added to the routine. I watered my flowers as usual, but this time I placed water in front of my door with a different purpose in mind: I was watering my body. My faith in water, its fertility, abundance, and healing and calming properties grew stronger. My objective is for the fire to burn out, and for the ash-filled spaces to rise from the ashes, which I fuel with water.

"Fire is one of the most effective master healers in existence," zlem zülker wrote on social media. Our situation is dire, but we must not lose hope; let us hug our trees and the good, and send our best wishes and prayers if we are powerless to help. When it comes into contact with something, water flows, calms, and relaxes.
