## <center>Homegrown on the homestead!</center>

For a few years now we've been growing Goji Berries here on the homestead. At the moment we have two varieties, the Korean Goji Berry & the Chinese Goji Berry. I am also hoping to get some Black Goji Berries established in the future. We hope to save some seeds for these and offer them up in our Etsy shop later this year, but at the moment, we're eating what we've got. 

While they  can be eaten fresh, they are much sweeter when dried, and dried is the form in which many people have eaten them. They are often referred to as a "superfood," which I think just means "real food," since real food is supposed to be healthy and full of nourishment. The leaves can also be eaten! It's amazing to see how many of these can grow on a bush, and each year we get more and more as the bush grows and matures. It's one more way for us to have tasty nutrition provided in a more self-sufficient way right from our property. Enjoy the photos!
